Made the break from Big Tech today.
Moved my DNS servers from Amazon AWS to a provider in Germany - INWX.
It’s a complicated and at the same time an easy move to have made, the process involved a number of changes to be made in various places on both AWS and INWX, then SSL security had to be generated via the command line, uploaded to the correct place at INWX, addition of other records to the main DNS record at INWX - to enable mail, links to my repository so that the website can be found..!
It helps to know ones’s way around these things, somewhat.!
Now just waiting for the SSL certificates to filter through the interweb and update themselves.
